When speaking of his friend President Gerald Ford, Bob Hope once said, “We have 51 golf courses in Palm Springs. He never decides which course he will play until after the first tee shot."

Golf continues to be a popular pursuit in Greater Palm Springs, although these days the area is home to more than 110 courses, many of which have been designed by such luminaries as Arnold Palmer, Pete Dye, Jack Nicklaus and Greg Norman.

The region’s lushly manicured courses, silhouetted by stark mountain backdrops, offer play at all challenge levels, from gracefully casual to demanding greens.

FootGolf is now available on select courses.
